Durham Combustion was contacted for the following reasons:

• Customer was experiencing reliability issues with their existing burner management systems - Moore Controllers and Maxon Syncro valves.
• They also wanted to improve on the turndown and efficiency of each boiler

Service Assessment:

• A 3 boiler retrofit was required for the installation and commissioning of Nexus Linkageless controls on all 3 boilers.
• Installed and commissioned Allen Bradley Compact Logix 1/3 element feedwater controls on 2 burners.

Service Call & Assessment:

• The turndown has improved to the point where the customer no longer has to fire their low volume burners during low steam demand periods and the boiler efficiencies have substantially improved.
• The feedwater controls have virtually eliminated low water trips during drops of condensate return water pressure
• TSSA approvals were provided for each boiler.
