Durham Combustion is looking to hire a Field Service Technician for servicing industrial and commercial boiler control applications.
The successful candidate must be willing to travel within Ontario, have a valid Ontario drivers license and must either live in the GTA or be willing to re-locate to the area.
Applicants should provide proof of obtaining an Industrial Instrumentation college diploma and/or Industrial Instrumentation journeyman certificate.
Consideration will be given to those applicants that have successfully completed either of the following college courses:
Robotics
Power Engineering
Industrial Electrician
Gas Technician 1
Applicants must be able to demonstrate proficiency with configuring Allen Bradley control and HMI products as well as having acceptable Instrumentation knowledge.
The successful candidate will be expected to perform hands-on work on field instruments and equipment as well as performing high level programming.
Customer site training as well as vendor product training will be provided with the intent of always placing the new technician in a position to succeed.
Telephone support from other Durham Combustion service technicians will always be available, as will on-site support when a situation requires it.
